Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area is located at the southwest of Foshan city which is the center of the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong province. It is a national 5A-level scenic area. The tourism of Xiqiao has strong local characteristics, integrating landscape, cultural traditions and south lion dance culture with Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.
Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area boasts a rich landscape with 72 peaks, 36 caves, numerous springs, 28 waterfalls and 10 famous scenic spots, including Baiyun Cave, Baofeng Temple, The Culture Center of Nanhai Guanyin, Green Valley, Huang Fei-hong Lion Dance and Martial Arts Academy, Nine Dragons Cave, Stone Screen wall, Square Bamboo Camellia Garden, Peach Garden, and Tianhu Lake.
The scenic area also holds many annual activities, such as the Birthday Celebration of Tai Sin (gods in Chinese mythology), Mountain Climbing on the Double Ninth Festival, Flower Appreciation Meeting, Lion Dance, Tea Culture events, etc.
