The new site of the First Historical Archives of China opened to the public on July 6, 2022. It offers visitors access to over 4.68 million archival documents.
More than 4.1 million archives are available for public retrieval on its official website.
Accessing the archives:
A Letter of Introduction provided by the pertinent governing organization in China and a passport (or other valid personal identification) are required.
