Arxan-Chaihe Tourist Attraction is located in the southern part of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, which covers an area of 1,031 square kilometers spanning Arxan county in Hinggan League and Chaihe town in Zalantun county, Hulunbuir.

Arxan, which means “hot holy water” in Mongolian, is located in the south of the Greater Hinggan Mountains with abundant mineral resources, including cold springs, hot springs and high temperature springs. During the winter, it is also an ideal destination for skiing.

The Arxan scenic spot is famous for its forest resources. Highlights for the scenic spot include the Tianchi Lakes, Yimin River and Shitang Forest.

Chaihe town, in the southwest of Zalantun county, is rich in mountain resources. The Chaihe scenic spot is named after the Chaihe River. In addition to the Chaihe River, the Chuoer River and their tributaries also lie in the scenic spot.

2. Snowstorms are frequent in the tourist attraction in October.
