Founded on January 27, 1918, the Peking University People's Hospital (PKUPH) (北京大学人民医院) is the first general hospital financed and operated by Chinese people. It is a class A tertiary comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. Throughout the past century, the hospital has had a consistent commitment to providing high-quality patient care, excellent education, and innovative research.
