In 2017, the value added of construction enterprises in China was 5.57 trillion yuan($824.82 billion), up by 4.3 percent from 2016.
The profits made by construction enterprises qualifying for general contracts and specialized contracts reached 766.1 billion yuan, up by 9.7 percent from 2016. Of this total, the profits made by state-holding enterprises were 231.3 billion yuan, up by 15.1 percent.
