Xi'an among China's top 10 cities for tourist satisfaction

Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, ranked among China's top 10 cities for tourist satisfaction in 2023, according to the 2023 national tourist satisfaction survey report that was released by the China Tourism Academy on April 21.

Tourist satisfaction is a comprehensive indicator for assessing the overall level of a city's tourism industry development. Looking back at 2023, Xi'an maintained a high level of tourism popularity, with tourist satisfaction steadily increasing.

Throughout the year, Xi'an received 278 million visitors, generating a total tourism revenue of 335 billion yuan ($46.25 billion), reaching a historic high.
