A Chinese New Year cultural temple fair will take place at the Daming Lake Scenic Area in Jinan from Feb 10, the first day of the first lunar month, to Feb 25, the 16th day of the first lunar month.

This year's temple fair is divided into four main scenarios, featuring elements of childhood memories, recollections of youth, the century-old commercial port Laoshangbu, and the prosperous Year of the Dragon era. Visitors will be immersed in different eras as they stroll through the fair.

Each scenario will also feature market stalls promoting urban souvenirs and cultural and creative products, as well as time-honored brands, intangible cultural heritage experiences, and local specialty food and beverage outlets.

An outdoor stage will be set up for performances, including dragon and lion dances and traditional dances, providing interactive entertainment for the Chinese New Year.

Visitors can not only dress up for photos but also participate in interactive performances, taste a variety of food, and purchase their favorite cultural and creative products, enjoying the rich, festive atmosphere.

This year's temple fair will also have a few unique touches. For example, On Feb 10, dozens of people dressed in hanfu (traditional Chinese attire) will play the role of flower goddess as they participate in a drumming parade and interact with visitors, offering a unique cultural feast to all.

From Feb 10 to 25, special sightseeing boat routes will be available along the moat for visitors to better enjoy the Baotu Spring lantern fair. Operating from 5:30 pm to 8 pm daily, the boats will travel from Heihu Spring pier to Baotu Spring pier.
