On Dec 2, the year-end music festival entitled "A Bowl of Rice Wine" took place at Nandan county, Hechi.

Guangxi bands such as Varimnaz, Mabang, Young drug, and Mr. Sea Turtle, along with bands like Sound Fragments, Mercader, Instinct, and Mimik Banka, came together to deliver a captivating performance that drew in 13,000 spectators.

The concert kicked off with Mabang's explosive performance. This Guangxi band is known for its eclectic music, which incorporates elements of original mountain songs, Caizhou tunes, Guilin opera, rock, and reggae. They have created a unique Southern dialect folk music genre.

Following them was Instinct, a band hailing from Kunming, Yunnan province. Their sensational performance struck a chord with the audience.

Subsequently, Mimik Banka, Mercader, Sound Fragments, Young drug, and Mr. Sea Turtle took the stage, each bringing their own distinct musical style.

At 8:00 pm, Wainana started its show, igniting the passionate enthusiasm of the audience. It was their first hometown performance after making it to the top 3 in the national finals of The Big Band Season.

"The songs we perform are derived from life, inspired by the collision of agricultural production and folk culture. During busy farming seasons, we work in the fields, and during our downtime, we sing our favorite folk songs. We blend our preferred music with our daily lives, singing the truest reflection of ourselves," said Ba Nong, lead singer of the band.
