Starting Nov 27, China Eastern Airlines will launch a direct round-trip flight between Jinan, East China's Shandong province and Sydney, Australia. This will be the first intercontinental passenger route operated by China Eastern Airlines at Jinan airport.

The opening of this route will provide a more convenient air passage for passengers from Shandong and surrounding areas traveling to Sydney. It will also serve as an air bridge for economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between the two places.

The Jinan-Sydney route, with flight numbers MU763/764, will operate three times per week. The outbound flights will depart Jinan at 18:35 on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Sydney at 9:30 the next day. The return flights will depart from Sydney at 12:10 on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in Jinan at 21:05 on the same day (all local time).

To meet the needs of passengers, there will be special discounts for both business-class and economy-class tickets during the initial operation period. The tickets are already available for sale on China Eastern Airlines' official app.

The flight will offer free in-flight Wi-Fi service, allowing passengers to work, make video calls, shop online and choose from a wider range of entertainment options.
