Jinan strives to create sound business environment for investors

Jinan, the capital of East China's Shandong province, has taken solid steps to create a sound business environment for investors to promote the city's high-quality development, local media reported.

To attract and support new businesses, the Management Committee of Changqing University Town in Jinan has been providing efficient and dedicated services.

Many foreign investors like Wu Xingzhou, a manager of Jinan Haozhong Automation Co, a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of automotive stamping high-speed robots, have been happy with the assistance the committee has provided throughout the registration and construction process.

Having recently completed the registration procedure for his company, Wu commended the committee for its prompt and attentive service. "We contacted the approval service department of the committee based on the recommendation list they issued, and they immediately assigned a project manager to assist us. We were able to submit the necessary documents and obtain registration within a day. The committee's dedication and efficiency were truly remarkable," Wu said.

The committee's commitment goes beyond registering new businesses. After commencing construction in August last year, Wu's company completed their production base in May this year. Typically, companies would have to wait for inspection to be completed before they can proceed with interior decoration and equipment installation.

However, the committee introduced an initiative to encourage companies to apply for early use of completed buildings once the main construction and fire safety installations were finished. This allowed them to begin equipment installation and interior decoration earlier, significantly shortening the construction timeline.

This focus on improving the business environment not only includes streamlining administrative procedures and reducing approval time but also evaluating the quality of public services provided by governmental organizations.

With more efforts to provide efficient and reliable services like the committee, it is expected that more businesses will be attracted to the city, driving further economic growth in Jinan, officials said.
