The first phase of the Yankuang Tai'an port logistics park is expected to be completed at the end of June. Upon completion, it is expected to have a digitized smart monitoring system and further product automation.

Located on the south bank of the Daqing River in Tai'an's Dongping county, the first phase of the project will offer combined highway, railway, and waterway logistics services. It includes a wharf working area, a material storage and transportation area, as well as an auxiliary operation area and special line for railway, covering an area of 94.13 hectares.

The wharf working area has five 1000-metric ton level berths, three of them for coal transportation and two for break-bulk cargo and containers. The material storage and transportation area includes four tower silos with storage capacity of 25,000 tons each. It also has four automated circular yards, with storage capacity of 100,000 tons for each, and one fast loading station for trucks. An assembly system is also available to achieve bulk cargo automatic collection and assembly.

In addition, the logistics park's digitized facilities and systems will ensure that it can operate normally with less than 200 employees. Inspired by digitization, the park is expected to fulfill the digitalization of production scheduling throughout the whole process, the intellectualization of security and environmental protection, as well as offer real-time 3D dynamic visualization.

After the completion of the first phase of the project, it can achieve efficient combined transportation integrated with the Watang-Rizhao Railway, the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, expressway, and the national freeway network. Phase two of the project is projected to break ground in the first half of this year.

After the completion of the logistics park, it will not only tap into the coal production capacity of the energy groups' bases in Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, but also ensure Shandong province's energy supply, while driving the development of the regional economy.
