Santaishan Village becomes national Chinese traditional village

Recently, a total of 1,336 villages were included on the list of the six batch of Chinese traditional villages, including Santaishan Village in Yuanguping Town, Zhangjiajie City.

Santaishan Village was formed by merging two former other villages, and have households with 31 family names. Relying on the profound ethnic culture, the village has integrated the performing arts teams made up of cultural celebrities, folk artists and cultural inheritors. Its Jiuzibian dance and Sumuchuo culture have been promoted to the world and known by domestic and foreign tourists.
