Titled The Ageless Dongpo, the musical that sheds light on the life of poet Su Shi (1037-1101) was staged in Haikou, capital of Hainan province, on Feb 18. The production stitches together in five acts the life of Su and reflects on the accomplishments of this recognized Chinese literary icon.
