Scenery of Geyuan Garden in spring

As spring is finally coming round, Geyuan Garden, a well-preserved traditional garden in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, is full of spectacular color and fragrance.

The garden, noted for its long history and a delicate arrangement of bamboo and stones, is surely an ideal place to appreciate some beautiful spring scenery.

Besides the amazing views, an art exhibition is being held at the garden from March 4 to 18.

The exhibition displays a total of 36 Chinese traditional pieces of calligraphy and paintings created by Yangzhou's female artists, in a bid to celebrate the International Women's Day that falls on March 8.
