Opened to the public in 2015, the Hu Yaobang Memorial is the only national memorial hall to present the life story and personality of Hu Yaobang (1915-89) who was a Chinese revolutionary and politician. Covering an exhibition area of 2,800 square meters, it is home to a permanent exhibition themed on Hu’s life. It uses modern technologies to highlight his glorious and great achievements through photos, cultural relics, artworks, sculptures, and videos related to him. The memorial is rated as a national first-class museum, a national patriotism base, and a provincial base for integrity and cultural education.
