Chongqing Science & Technology Museum

Chongqing Science & Technology Museum, which opened to the public in 2009, is located in Jiangbeizui central business district, Jiangbei district. It has a floor area of 48,300 square meters with an exhibition area of 29,900 sq meters.

The museum has six exhibition halls themed around the science and technology of daily life, disaster prevention, transportation, national defense, aerospace and basic science, as well as one children's science park and one industry special exhibition hall.

It has 418 exhibits, and is equipped with temporary exhibition halls, science and technology workshops for teenagers, and cinemas.

Chongqing Sichuan Opera Museum

Chongqing Sichuan Opera Museum has about 500 photos and 1,000 exhibits which showcase the history of Sichuan Opera.

Chongqing Baolin Museum

Chongqing Baolin Museum covers an area of 8,000 sq meters with 10 exhibition halls and over 6,800 exhibits, 500 of which are exhibited to the public.

It was recognized as national 3-A level scenic spot in 2013 and receives about 20,000 tourists from all over the word each year.

Chongqing Bayu Folk Custom Museum

The museum focuses on folk customs in Chongqing, including agricultural production, material life, marriage etiquette and religions, as well as exhibits including carved wooden furniture from the middle and late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Chongqing International Expo Center

The expo center is located in Liangjiang New Area, covering a floor area of 600,000 sq meters and integrating the functions of exhibition, conferencing, dining, accommodation, performances and competitions.

It has 16 exhibition halls with an exhibition area of 11,500 sq meters each, an outdoor exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, and a multifunctional exhibition hall that can contain 15,000 audience members.
