Office director meets with Metropolises secretary general online

An online video conference was held between Liu Baochun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, and Octavi de la Varga, secretary general of the World Association of Major Metropolises (Metropolises), on May 11.

Liu is also the secretary general of the Metropolises Asia-Pacific Regional Office.

Issues like the current situation of the global novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, as well as the preparations for the series of activities of the Global Mayors Forum were discussed during the conference.
