The Baise Uprising Memorial Park was established in 2008, with an area of 3.6 square kilometers. It is one of the 12 key national revolution-themed tourism sites.

The scenic spots includethe Baise Uprising Memorial, the Baise Uprising Monument, site of the headquarters of the Seventh Army of China's Red Army, the Sculpture Park of Baise Uprising Heroes, the Deng Xiaoping Handwriting Stele Forest and the Memorial Hall's central axis landscape.

The park is a memorial to the revolution led by China's lateleader Deng Xiaoping (1904-97) in 1929 when Deng led an uprising in Baise in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and set up a revolutionary base there.
