In order to further strengthen the management of inbound traveler declarations and registrations and effectively protect the public's safety and physical health, according to the law and regulations -- including the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Management Punishment and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases -- the following notice is hereby given:

1. Inbound travelers -- referring to Chinese citizens returning from overseas, foreigners and stateless persons -- are required to declare their information to local residential communities, or their company, within two days of arriving in Ordos. Health declarations will include inbound traveler’s identification information, phone numbers, visited countries, date of return, transportation methods, itinerary within 14 days, health status and the purpose of entry.

Upon entering Ordos, inbound travelers must strictly abide by the city's epidemic prevention and control management regulations, as well as consciously cooperate with and accept epidemic inspections, quarantine observations and other epidemic prevention and control measures.

2. Party members and government agencies at all levels, enterprises and institutions and all citizens must -- after having learned that relatives and friends have returned or will return to the city from outside the country -- report the information to local residential communities and the city epidemic prevention and control department.

Hotels must strictly implement reporting and registration procedures with regards to the temporary accommodation of visitors.

They shall in a timely manner report the health status, activity and contacts of guests to public security officials or the city epidemic prevention and control department in accordance with the regulations.

3. Inbound travelers shall comply with their information reporting responsibilities, including health declarations and filling in their travel history. Anyone suspected of intentionally concealing their history of international residence, contact history of novel coronavirus pneumonia cases, or misrepresenting their health status -- and refusing to accept medical tests and centralized quarantine and medical observation, or conducting other acts that disrupt the normal order of epidemic prevention and control work -- shall bear the legal consequences.

4. Relevant government departments, villages (or residential communities) and related individuals -- who fail to report inbound travelers’ information, deliberately conceal the situation of inbound travelers, or fail to fulfill their job responsibilities and cause serious consequences -- shall be investigated, according to the law and regulations.

5. The general public is requested to actively report the violation of relevant regulations on epidemic prevention and control by inbound travelers to the local public security officials or epidemic prevention and control departments. Please call 110, 8582110, or 8588120.
