China International Industry Fair

The China International Industry Fair (CIIF) was launched in 1999. It is staged annually in the autumn in Shanghai. As an UFI-approved event, CIIF is a leading showcase for manufacturing in China, as well as an important window and platform, open to the world, for international trade, communication, and cooperation with an industrial scope.

It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government.

The 20th China International Industry Fair - or CIIF 2018 - was held from Sept 19 to 23, 2018 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The five-day CIIF took up an area of 287,902 square meters and attracted 2,665 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, Germany, and France.

A total of 181,346 people from 82 foreign countries and regions, as well as 31 domestic provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities visited the CIIF 2018.
