North China’s Hohhot ensures railway safety

Yang Baoqing on Feb 29 patrols a section of the Zhangjiakou-Hohhot High-speed Railway which is located in Hohhot, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The line, being one of the important components of the Beijing-Lanzhou High-speed Railway, has a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. After its official launch, a great deal of comfort and convenience was on offer to passengers in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area. There are more than 240 kilometers of rail, under the jurisdiction of the Hohhot Railway Public Security Department. [Photo/Xinhua]
