Hohhot primary school hosts online commencement ceremony

Yang Yiran, a student at Chilechuan Lyudi Primary School in the Saihan district of Hohhot, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, makes a video call to her mother on March 1. Her mom is a member of Inner Mongolia's medical team heading for Wuhan in Central China's Hubei province -- and the special occasion of the call was the online commencement ceremony for the school's spring semester. Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, primary and secondary schools across Inner Mongolia started online teaching on March 2, using methods including video interaction, live broadcasts, television video and audio.
