Sangzhi folk song

Sangzhi folk song is a treasure of ethnic culture in Hunan which has a long history and with characteristics of sincere feelings and beautiful melodies. Sangzhi county is a minority county with Tujia, Bai and Miao minorities as its main inhabitants, who has no languages and characters of their own. So, their cultures are passed down orally. The Sangzhi folk song, which is the combination of their oral literature and music, was included into the first group of national intangible culture heritage list in 2006.
