The Jinling Hotel Nanjing, known as the forerunner of modern Chinese hotels, has grown and advanced constantly and was recognized worldwide as the “Highest Building in China”.

It is ideally situated in the middle of the subway transport system in Nanjing. Located in the Xinjiekou area, the hotel is only 15 minutes from Nanjing Railway Station, 25 minutes to Nanjing South Railway Station and 40 minutes to Nanjing Lukou International Airport.

The Jinling Hotel Nanjing was one of the six large hotels catering to overseas tourists approved by the State Council in 1979. When it opened in 1983, it was the tallest building in China. It was designated by the international media as the “window of China’s reform and opening up” and was the first large international hotel managed by Chinese. This extraordinary building has witnessed 30 years of China’s reform and opening-up.

The Jinling Hotel Nanjing has invested heavily in upgrading and renovating its guest rooms, restaurants, facilities, IT system and public areas, striving to create a comfortable, elegant and cozy atmosphere for business guests. The hotel has taken the lead in the industry to carry forward an information technology plan and to improve the traditional hospitality industry through improved information technology.

It has also intensified its innovations in dining operations and taken the initiative in setting up a food research and development center, which releases 30 to 40 innovative dishes every month and explores the culinary cultures of different locales
