An exhibition themed around the development of big data in Southwest China's Guizhou province and its capital city of Guiyang, known as "China's Data Valley", opened at the Guizhou Big Data Exhibition Center on Sept 21 and will run until Oct 21.

The exhibition, which has a floor area of 7,080 square meters and a display area of 5,000 sq m, was held against the backdrop of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

It consists of five exhibition areas focusing on digital solutions, digitalization and integration, cloud computing, futuristic scenarios, and smart equipment.

Children will have an opportunity to visit exhibitions showcasing Guizhou's achievements in agricultural investment, big data, poverty-relief, e-commerce, and public services over the past 70 years.

The exhibition will teach people about Guizhou's contributions in the age of big data. In the future, the province plans to further deepen integration between big data and various other industries.
