Harbin Opera House

Covering an area of 79,000 square meters and designed by MAD Architects, Harbin Opera House in Harbin city, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, was named the best Cultural Architecture in 2015 by ArchDaily, one of the most visited architecture websites worldwide. The Opera House includes the grand theatre (with 1600 seats), which mainly performs large-scale operas, concerts and ballet, and a small theatre (with 400 seats), which mainly meets the multifunctional requirements of dramas, chamber music, opera performances and conferences.
