Hebei University of Technology

Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT) is a key university and one of the national universities under Project 211. Situated in Tianjin city, it is also an important co-construction university under the authority of Hebei province, Tianjin city and the Ministry of Education.

The university has 18 teaching institutions and 73 undergraduate programs covering seven disciplines: engineering, science, economics, management, liberal arts, law and art. It has two national key disciplines, four excellent characteristic disciplines of Hebei province, and 20 provincial key disciplines.

The university has 2,600 staff, including nearly 1,600 full-time teachers. It also attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation. Currently, the university has signed cooperative education agreements with more than 60 foreign universities, and the cooperative training covers all levels from undergraduate to doctoral. The cooperation projects of academic education have been extended to the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden and other countries. The university has 786 students and 260 foreign students in the Sino-foreign cooperative education program.
