Sliced beef and ox organs in chili sauce (夫妻肺片 fū qī fèi piàn)

Sliced beef and ox organs in chili sauce, one of the famous dishes of Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan province, was created by a couple called Guo Chaohua and Zhang Tianzheng. Its main ingredients are cattle scalp, heart, tongue, tripe and beef. After being marinated, these ingredients will be sliced before a red oil made with chili oil and pepper is added to give the dish a beautiful color and a spicy flavor.
