Qinghai Automobile Transportation Group Co Ltd, a State-owned enterprise specializing in automobile transport in Qinghai province, was established in August 2001. It is the only enterprise in the province that has been evaluated to have second-level operating qualification for road passenger transport and third-level business qualification for road cargo transport. It is also a key logistics transport enterprise featuring highway-rail diversion transport of industrial products.

Its business scope covers road freight transport, large storage services, property management, vehicle testing and repair, driver training, commercial trade, tourism, restaurant and hotel services, car rental, catering and entertaining, travel consultation, domestic and inbound tourism services, conference and exhibition services, ticket agency, e-commerce and scenery spot development.

The group owns 20 wholly-owned subsidiaries and was awarded the honorary title of Top 50 enterprises of Qinghai Province in 2018 in September.
