Malvern College Chengdu

Malvern College Chengdu, which opened in 2015, is a British international school, providing the 12-year elementary, middle and high school education. It is affiliated to Malvern College in the United Kingdom as one of its branch schools in China.

The school boasts good facilities and teaching environment. Located beside Chengdu Botanical Garden, the school covers an area of 150 mu (10 hectares), with its green area exceeding 65 percent. Built in British style, it is equipped with an outdoor amphitheater, mini golf course, science laboratories and basketball courts.

Highly qualified and experienced foreign teachers have been employed to teach in small classes to help students who want to study aboard adapt to Western education.

The school has formed an education system integrating the Chinese curriculum with the A-level (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level), IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) tests used by high schools in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Students, who have passed the IGCSE or the SAT tests, are eligible to apply for more than 10,000 universities in over 160 countries and regions around the world.

A series of thematic inquiry activities are organized to cultivate students' abilities in independent and critical thinking, teamwork, comprehensive analysis and problem solving.

A new campus is being built in Xinjin county, Chengdu, with a planned combined floor area of 90,000 square meters.
