Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street in Wuhan, Hubei province, is the longest pedestrian street in China and is also widely regarded as the best.

The 1,600-meter-long pedestrian street, was first established in 1906 and underwent a two-year renovation starting in December 2016.

A lot of modern buildings, such as the Siming Bank which was built in 1936, are located on the street, allowing visitors to get a close look at the charm of these early 20th century buildings.

The street also has a lot of shopping malls and brand shops such as Nike and Adidas. Local Wuhan delicacies such as hot dry noodles, tofu skin and beef noodles are also available there for visitors to enjoy local flavors.

Integrating shopping, leisure, tourism and culture, Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street has become an important brand for Wuhan.
