Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University

The Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University, which dates back to 1970, is the only directly affiliated hospital of the university and is now a 3A-grade hospital offering medical treatment, teaching and training, scientific research, disease prevention and rehabilitation.

The hospital, covering a combined floor area of 88,300 square meters, has more than 1,600 patient beds. It currently has 18 functional offices, 53 clinical departments and 12 medical laboratories. Four of its departments were listed among provincial key disciplines, while 14 were rated as provincial-level key clinical specialties. There are 2,059 staff members at the hospital.

The hospital is equipped with more than 1,000 advanced devices, each of which is worth more than 10,000 yuan ($1,450), providing powerful support for the accurate diagnosis and treatment of basic medical conditions and critical illnesses.

Weifang Cancer Hospital, which was established in 1992 and is the only tumor specialized hospital in Weifang city, was merged with the hospital in 2013.
