Xiamen Xianyue Hospital

Xiamen Xianyue Hospital, located on the south side of Xianyueshan, Yishanbangshui, was founded in 1958.

The hospital has two campuses, one in the south and one in the north of the city, covering 51,000 square meters with a construction area of 49,000 sq m.

As a beautiful garden hospital, Xiamen Xianyue Hospital is the largest 3A-grade hospital in southwest Fujian province. It is a teaching hospital of the Medical College of Xiamen University.

It offers medical treatment, training, scientific research, disease prevention measures and general healthcare, undertaking medical responsibility for mental health in Xiamen and nearby areas.

The hospital employs 823 staff members and 81 of them hold senior titles. It has over 1,500 patient beds and 20 wards, including departments of psychiatry, psychology, geriatric psychiatry, compelling medical service and substance dependence.

It owns advanced medical facilities such as a Siemens nuclear magnetic resonance machine, 64- slice spiral computed tomography, diagnostic and therapeutic apparatus for brain function, transcranial Doppler, brain induction potentiometer, sleep therapy apparatus, a fully automatic biochemical analyzer, a gas chromatograph and Genetic testing instruments.

The hospital has been devoted to carrying out academic cooperation with experts and medical institutions from home and abroad in countries and regions such as Canada, the United States, Thailand and Hong Kong to promote the development of mental health work in Xiamen.
