Shandong Jianzhu University

Shandong Jianzhu University, founded in 1956, features civil engineering and architecture.

Spanning an area of more than 2,400 mu (160 hectares), the school has two campuses in the Licheng and Lixia districts of Jinan city.

By May 2018, the school comprised 19 schools and departments, with 58 majors for bachelor degrees, one post-doctoral research station, 15 master's degree programs for first-rank disciplines, 63 master's degree programs for second-rank disciplines, and nine authorized master's degree specialties.

To date, the university has 23 scientific research bases and laboratories at or above the ministerial and provincial level, including Shandong Provincial Collaborative Innovation Center and the Scientific Research Base for Protection of Folk Cultural Heritage of the National Cultural Heritage Administration.

It has won the National Science and Technology Progress Awards four times, second prize in the National Technology Invention Awards, second prize in the National Teaching Achievement Awards, and 23 other ministerial and provincial-level awards.

The university has established inter-school exchange and cooperation relations with more than 60 colleges and universities in over 30 countries and regions around the world.
