Hainan Airlines Holding Co Ltd, China's fourth-largest carrier, is committed to bring opportunities to the world by building a global company that connects people, goods and capital.

Established in 1993, Hainan Airlines has evolved from a regional airline into a Fortune Global 500 global company with approximately $145 billion of assets, over $90 billion in annual revenue, and an international workforce of 410,000 employees.

In 2018, the company saw annual revenue rise 13.1 percent to 67.8 billion yuan ($10 billion) as it carried more passengers, cargo and mail.

Through a global scale, large investment reserves and broad operating expertise, Hainan Airlines is dedicated to satisfying consumers by providing an integrated service in aviation, hospitality, tourism and catering.

The company carried 79.88 million passengers and 559,100 tons of cargo and mail, up 11.4 percent and 16.7 percent, respectively. It had a fleet size of 463 aircraft by the end of 2018.

Hainan Airlines has diversified business interests that align with its six core pillars: Technology, tourism, capital, holdings, Innovation finance and modern logistics.

The company announced in the first quarter of 2019, it earned a net profit of 1.14 billion yuan, down 14.8 percent, and generated a revenue of 18.6 billion yuan, up 10.9 percent.
