Suzhou Municipal Hospital

Suzhou Municipal Hospital, an affiliated hospital of Nanjing Medical University, has a history dating back over 60 years.

As a 3A-grade comprehensive hospital, Suzhou Municipal Hospital provides medical treatment and training, as well as conducting scientific research.

By the end of 2017, the hospital had 3,000 beds and treated a total of 4.04 million patients per year. In addition, it conducted 37,800 operations.

The hospital has three campuses. In addition to the main campus, there is one situated in the east of the city, and one in the north, along with an independent teaching and training base.

Currently, the hospital has 12 provincial key specialties, three municipal clinical centers and 20 municipal specialties.

In 2005, the hospital started to establish medical service centers in local communities and has carried out integrated management with four community medical service centers and two community medical service stations in Suzhou, setting up platforms such as a regional clinical image information platform and a remote consultation center.
