Coconut Rice, also named Coconut Boat, is a traditional farmers' snack in Hainan province.
It is made by cooking rice inside a freshly picked coconut.
Cut into slices, the sticky rice and coconut meat is eaten together, making for a sweet tropical treat.
Coconut has a high nutrition value. It strengthens the spleen and stomach and contains protein, carbohydrates, vitamins B1, B2 and C, calcium, phosphorus, and mineral substances.
