Shenzhen Longcheng Hospital was established in 2003 with a total construction area of 35,000 square meters and 528 open beds. It is a modern 3A-grade hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and preventative health care. The hospital focuses on rehabilitation, supplemented by internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics.

The hospital has 36 clinical medical technology departments, which undertake rehabilitation, medical and emergency rescue work in the region. The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is a key specialty of the hospital. 

The hospital has invested a lot of manpower and resources to help people in need. It established the Longcheng Angel Rehabilitation Fund and the Longcheng Guanai Rehabilitation Fund of Shenzhen Charity Association to help patients with financial difficulties access rehabilitation treatment.
