Work targets for 2019

GDP increase by 5 percent

Increase in public budget revenues by 4.5 percent

Increase in added value of industries above designated scale by 6 percent

Increase in retail sales of consumer goods by 7 percent

Increase in per capita disposable income for urban and rural residents by 7 percent and 8 percent

Major tasks for 2019

Investment:

Attracting investment of more than 300 billion yuan, implementing 185 key projects worth more than 100 million yuan with an investment of 53 billion yuan

Private sector economy:

Setting up a 1-billion-yuan guidance fund for the development of the private sector economy, fully implementing the tax reduction policy

Consumption:

Boosting e-commerce development and the integration of online and in-store shopping, expanding rural consumer market

Education:

Newly building, renovating, and expanding 31 kindergartens, primary, and middle schools

Transportation:

Promoting preparations for the construction of the Baotou-Xi’an high-speed rail that passes by Ordos, ensuring renovation of Baotou-Maoming expressway is completed in 2020

Start operations of the airport in Otog Front Banner, build new general airports in Hanggin Banner and Uxin Banner

Living:

Newly building and renovating green land of eight million square meters

Newly building 34 garbage disposal and transfer stations, as well as 24 sewage treatment facilities, penetration rate for toilets reaching 60 percent

Tourism:

Establishing Ordos Tourism Distribution Center and smart tourism public service platform

Popularizing local tourism brands with themes including desert scenery, folk customs, and escaping the summer heat

Poverty alleviation:

Realizing full coverage of industrial support projects for poor laborers

Completing renovation of dilapidated houses for poor residents

Launching a 500-million-yuan fund to support industrial development for rural revitalization
