Alibaba launches new round of co-op with Quzhou

E-commerce giant Alibaba Group launched a new round of cooperation with Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Feb 25, local media reported.

Alibaba plans to explore the development of future community, business climate, green finance, urban data brain and customer experience center in the city by initiating 20 related projects, according to the memorandum of strategic cooperation signed between Quzhou Municipal Government and Alibaba on the day.

With another cooperation agreement, Quzhou Municipal Health Commission and Alibaba aims to establish a mobile service platform for local hospitals based on the e-commerce giant's enterprise communication and collaboration platform DingTalk.

A joint laboratory for new generation artificial intelligence and a big data application research and promotion center were also inaugurated at the ceremony.

The two facilities will make full use of Alibaba Cloud's advantages in cloud computing, big data and AI to construct leading big data and AI innovation platforms in China, train more talents in digital economy for Quzhou and other Southeastern cities, and provide consultations for problems they encountered in developing digital economy.
