Xi’an Children’s Hospital

Xi’an Children’s Hospital is the only comprehensive three-level first class children’s special hospital in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. The hospital covers an area of 140.45 mu, occupies 130,000 square meters of business rooms, and has 1500 beds. There are 29 clinical departments, 24 outpatient departments and 11 medical and technical departments. They include Children’s Hospital Southern District, Eastern District and seven out-patient departments. Children’s medical services covers the whole province, radiating the vast number of children in the surrounding provinces. In 2017, there were 2.37 million outpatients, 70,000 discharged patients and 14,000 hospitalized patients.

There are 2,127 employees in the hospital, among them, 291 senior professional technicians, 20 of which have doctorate degrees. It also has 16 members of Chinese Hospital Association Children’s Hospital Management Branch, Chinese Medical Association Paediatric Branch, Pediatric Surgery Branch and so on.
