Taiyuan Art Museum

Covering an area of 61,901 square meters, Taiyuan Art Museum has a building area of 32,075 sq m, including 27,255 sq m of ground floor area and 4,820 sq m of underground floor area. Taking inspiration from Jinzhong's terraced landscapes, the museum was designed in accordance with Shanxi characteristics. Running under the theme of "placing academic research in an important position", the museum aims to set up a rounded system of art research and exhibition, with the goal of making it an artistic platform to conduct international cultural exchanges.

Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 (No admission after 16:30)

Closed days: Mondays (except national holidays)

Admission fee: Admission is free but visitors should make an appointment online three days in advance.

Group ticket: Tourist group with more than 50 visitors must make an appointment by phone
