Inspur Group

Inspur group is one of the oldest information technology (IT) companies in China. Formerly known as Shandong Electronic Equipment Factory, Inspur began to manufacture computer peripherals and low-frequency power evacuated tubes in the 1960s.

Inspur is China's leading cloud computing and big data service provider with four listed companies. Its business covers cloud data centers, cloud services and big data, smart cities and smart enterprises, providing IT products and services for more than 100 countries and regions around the world.

The comprehensive strength of Inspur saw it ranked ninth on the list of China's Top 100 IT companies. It sells the most servers in China and the third most around the world. Its market share of management software has been the highest in China for 14 consecutive years while its government cloud services have topped the market for three consecutive years.

It independently developed China's first mainframe for key applications, making China the third country to master the core technologies of high-end servers following the United States and Japan. It won the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2014.
