China Aquatic Products Zhoushan Marine Fisheries Co Ltd, formerly known as the Zhoushan Aquatic Products Processing Factory, was established in October 1962. It is now a key member of the China Agricultural Development Group Co Ltd, a central agricultural enterprise directly managed by the Asset Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

China Aquatic Products Zhoushan Marine Fisheries Corporation is a large State-owned enterprise that engages in a series of industries, including oceanic fishery, aquatic product processing, fishing port logistics, real estate and logistics services. 

The company has 10 subordinate secondary units, two holding companies and three shareholding companies. Covering 470 square kilometers and a construction area of more than 300 sq km, it has more than 40 ocean-going production vessels, four professional aquatic products and processing workshops and one aquatic product research and development inspection center, as well as 17 terminals, 21 berths and more than 5,000 employees. 

The company is qualified for self-operated export, bonded oil supply and foreign ship maintenance. Its technological innovation has taken the lead in developing processed seafood such as grilled fish fillets and squid silk, blazing the trail for its peers and transforming China's marine fisheries from offshore to ocean. It became the only licensed manufacturer for Shanghai World Expo Zhoushan District in 2010 and is now a member of the China Agricultural Industrialization Leading Enterprise Association and a leading enterprise in Zhejiang's agricultural industrialization.
