Thousand Islands Lake lies in Chun'an county, about 150 kilometers west of Hangzhou.

With 81percent of the area covered in forests, Thousand Islands Lake is a pure lake with clean, fresh water and air.

The lake is noted for its lush green mountains, crystal-clear water, exotic caves and strange stones. Nongfu Spring Water, a renowned mineral water brand, takes its water from this lake.

The best times to visit Thousand Islands Lake is in autumn and winter, when there is less rainfall. Fine weather, cool and fresh air and clear water are really enjoyable.
