Taikang Insurance Group

Founded in 1996, Taikang Insurance Group is a large insurance and financial service conglomerate headquartered in Beijing. The company operates in three main areas: insurance, asset management and health and elderly care.

Taikang Insurance Group has a number of subsidiaries including Taikang Life, Taikang Asset, Taikang Pension and Taikang Health, with businesses covering fields such as life insurance, pensions, enterprise annuities, online property, asset management, health and elderly care and commercial real estate.

By the end of 2017, the assets under the management of Taikang exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan ($174.39 billion). The group has served 225 million clients and over 340,000 companies. It has paid a total of 35.1 billion yuan in claims, and 37.5 billion yuan in taxes, and has been listed in the "Top 500 Chinese Enterprises" for 14 consecutive years.
