Inner Mongolia Sports Hospital, supported by the regional sports department and Hohhot's health care authority, is the first institute focusing on sports medicine and rehabilitation. It opened its doors to the public on Sept 17, 2018.
It aims to specialize in sports rehabilitation and push forward the integration of sports and medical treatment.
According to the hospital, it will fully utilize its research on sports medicine and provide medical support for the development of the regio's sports industry.
The establishment of the sports hospital came as a result of the State Council's strategy "Healthy China 2030", which advocates the innovation and cross-industry cooperation in the health industry.
