AXA Tianping P&C Insurance Co, Ltd, currently the largest foreign-funded property insurer in China, established its Shanghai Branch in 2007.

The company, founded in 2004, was merged from the former Tianping Auto Insurance Co, Ltd and the AXA Insurance Co, Ltd.
