Yantai Vocational College

Yantai Vocational College is a full-time comprehensive vocational college founded in 2001 through the merger of Yantai Industrial College, Yantai Financial College, Shandong Light Industrial Economical Management College and Yantai Educational College.

Located in the Yantai Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, the college covers 1200 mu (80 hectares) with a building area of nearly 520,000 square meters. Its fixed assets reach 1.1 billion yuan ($175 million); the total value of its teaching equipment is about 150 million yuan. The school library has a collection of over 1.34 million books

The school currently offers 46 majors in 13 categories, such as manufacturing, electronic information, transportation, finance and economics and civil engineering. It provides a three-year college education, 3+2” specialized college continued undergraduate education, and preparation technician training.

The school has also cooperated with over 10 universities abroad to promote academic and scientific research and oversea exchange.
