The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University

The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, health care, rehabilitation and pre-hospital care. It works with the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Diseases, the Guangzhou Institute of Orthopaedics, the Guangzhou Institute of Urology and the Institute of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine of Guangzhou Medical University. The hospital is one of 13 National Centers for Clinical Medical Research. 

The hospital holds 1500 inpatient beds and has 44 clinical departments and 18 medical technology departments. It owns a number of high-tech facilities such as PET/CT, 3.0T MR, DSA, an electron linear accelerator, a mobile intra-operative radiotherapy X-ray system, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a bronchial magnetic navigation system and an automatic pharmacy system.
